How to read a belVita nutrition label

One pack of Blueberry Breakfast Biscuits, read line by line with the FDA's own guidance next to it.

Start with the serving

The top of the label tells you what every other number refers to. On a Blueberry box the serving is 1 pack (50g), 4 biscuits, and the box holds 8 of them. So one sealed pack is one serving, which keeps the arithmetic simple.

It’s important to realize that all the nutrient amounts shown on the label, including the number of calories, refer to the size of the serving.

That matters more on the Bites bags than on the biscuits. A 5 oz bag of Crunchy Bites holds about four and a half servings, and nothing stops a hand from going back in.

Calories by line

Within a line the calories barely move, because the base biscuit is the same. Between lines they move a lot, mostly because the serving size changes.

Calories per serving by line, from each flavor's label
LineCaloriesServing
Biscuit Sandwiches230(50g), 2 sandwiches
Soft Baked & Fruit Bakes150–200(40g), 2 bars / (50g), 1 biscuit
Bites120–1404 snack bites (32g) / 28 pieces (31g)
Breakfast Biscuits220–230(50g), 4 biscuits

The percent column

The right-hand column turns grams into a share of one day. The FDA gives a short rule for reading it:

5% DV or less of a nutrient per serving is considered low. 20% DV or more of a nutrient per serving is considered high

On the Blueberry pack, sodium is 9% and fiber is 7%. Both land between low and high. Added sugar is 22%, which is the one line on this label that gets close to high.

Added sugar, the number to watch

Added sugar has its own row because the Dietary Guidelines set a limit for it. The FDA spells out the numbers:

The Daily Value for added sugars is 50 grams per day based on a 2,000 calorie daily diet.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Added Sugars on the Nutrition Facts Label, read 27 September 2026

The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends limiting calories from added sugars to less than 10 percent of total calories per day.

Here is every belVita flavor with its own label, least added sugar first. Two packs of a sandwich flavor in a day is about half the daily value before anything else you eat.

Fiber and whole grain

Fiber is the row you want to see go up. The daily value is 28 grams:

The DV for dietary fiber is 28g, which is 100% DV.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, How to Understand and Use the Nutrition Facts Label, read 27 September 2026

A crunchy pack gives 2 to 4 grams, a Soft Baked bar 4, and Fruit Bakes 5. Whole grain is not a line on the Nutrition Facts panel, so the grams below come from the manufacturer's product descriptions. Toasted Coconut Breakfast Biscuits leads with 20 g per serving.
